Saving Sundance

A portion of the contest proceeds will be used to aid in equine rescue projects. Below is an example of a six month old colt who requires surgery to lengthen the tendons in his front leg. Without this surgery Sundance has no future. This colt is currently living with constant pain. He can get better with the right help and he can live a healthy happy life as a beloved pet horse. The rescue is willing to care for him for the remainder of his days but we need your help to make his days happy and comfortable. Below are some photos (to be added) of Sundance through various rescue stages and a breakdown of the rescue costs we need help with.

(add photos here)

  1. $1000 for surgery. We have a vet that has reduced his fee to make this more affordable at this price.
  2. $500 for corrective shoeing for three months.
  3. $500 for surgical after care.
